This web page is being created to assist students, parents, and teachers. Additional connections will be added throughout this 2000-2001 school year. I hope that this is helpful. - John E. Schlichte (jschlichte@teacher.com)

This web page is designed to assist students in the careful identification of letters and numbers that may be reversed or confused with other letters and numbers.
This is a temporary experimental page that will be revised as time permits.
Directions: The student should be directed to carefully look at the letter or number before each group and then to click on only the same letter or number that appears in the group of letters and/or numbers that follows.
A "happy turtle" should appear if the choice is correct and a "sorry note" should appear if the choice is incorrect. When one of these message boxes is displayed the student will need to click on the X in the top right corner of the box to return to the activity.
Click on only the letter b in the following group of letters.
Click here to see a sample "sentence reader" that can allow a student to click and hear a sentence on the Internet. The student may then copy the sentence and bring it to the teacher when the student feels that he or she is ready to read it.
This is another sample of how technology may be used to help students.
